Privacy Policy.
What we collect, why, how long we keep it and what you can demand of us. No dark patterns and no data broking.
Last updated September 1, 2026
This policy explains how Trusted Ventures LLC handles personal information. It covers this website and our services. We are the controller of the information described in section 2.
1. The short version
- We collect the minimum we need to answer you and to deliver work you have engaged us for.
- We never sell, rent or broker personal information. We have never done so and will not.
- We do not use client data to train models or to improve a product sold to anyone else.
- This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
- You can ask us what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted — and we will not make that difficult.
2. Information we collect
| Category | What it is | Why we have it |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry information | Name, business name, email address, telephone number if you give one, and whatever you write in your message. | To answer you and to assess whether we can help. Our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry. |
| Client records | Contact details of your staff, contractual documents, invoices and payment records. | To perform the contract and to meet legal and tax obligations. |
| Support correspondence | Tickets, emails and notes about issues you report. | To provide support and to improve reliability. |
| Technical logs | IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps and error traces from our own servers. | Security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. Legitimate interest. |
| Payment information | The amount, date, and a token and last four digits from our payment provider. | To take payment and to reconcile accounts. We never receive or store your full card number or security code. |
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen, and this website is not directed at children.
3. Client data we process on your behalf
When we build or maintain a system for you, that system may contain personal data about your customers. For that data you are the controller and we are a processor. We access it only where the engagement requires, only on your documented instructions, and never for any purpose of our own. Each client's environment is fully isolated from every other client's. A written data processing agreement is available on request and, where required by law, will be signed before processing begins.
4. Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not embed third-party advertising pixels. WordPress may set a strictly necessary session cookie if you log in to an administrative area; ordinary visitors are not logged in and receive no such cookie.
Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver the font files. No cookie is set by that request.
5. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, each under contract and only to the extent needed:
- Hosting and infrastructure — to run this website and our systems.
- Payment processing — our PCI DSS compliant payment provider, which handles card data directly.
- Email and productivity — to correspond with you and keep records.
- Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where genuinely necessary.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to establish or defend legal claims. If we are ever party to a merger or sale, we will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
6. Where information is held
Primarily in the United States. Where a provider processes data elsewhere, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
| Record | Retention |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not become clients | 24 months, then deleted |
| Client contractual and project records | 7 years after the engagement ends |
| Invoices and payment records | 7 years, to meet tax obligations |
| Server and security logs | 12 months |
| Client production data we process | Returned or deleted within 30 days of termination, on your instruction |
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we relied on it.
If you are a California resident, you additionally have the right to know the categories collected and disclosed, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, so there is no opt-out to offer you.
To exercise any right, email legal@trustedventures.store. We respond within thirty days and will not charge you. We may need to verify your identity, and will ask for the minimum necessary to do so. If your request concerns data held inside a client's system, we will refer you to that client, who is the controller, and tell you we have done so.
9. Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, apply least-privilege access, keep an audit trail and test before release. The detail is on our Security page. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and any regulator as required, without undue delay and in any event within seventy-two hours of becoming aware.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any updated version here with a new date at the top. Where a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will contact you directly.
